After keeping us in suspense with a major cliff hanger in it’s first season, Disney+ has finally reintroduced Loki for streamers on October 5th!
The series is another Marvel spinoff that stars Thor’s ‘troubled adoptive brother’, Loki, who is played by the charismatic Tom Hiddleston.
After two years of anxious waiting, fans can finally rejoice seeing their favorite trickster god return for six brand new episodes available on Disney+ now.
When Tom Hiddleston was asked about the show after the first season’s final episode, he expressed excitement for the “ability to have another go at this,” according to sources from Marvel.
“I want to say thank you to the audience because without the audience, we wouldn’t be able to make a Season 2,” he said. “I hope Season one was full of surprises. And I think Season 2 will be full of even more.”
One thing that gave Loki such a strong debut was it’s unique cast of characters. Further sources confirm that the upcoming second season will also feature the return of the following actors:
- Mobius played by Owen Wilson
- Hunter B-15 played by Wunmi Mosaku
- Ravonna Renslayer played by Gugu Mbatha-Raw
- Miss Minutes voiced by Tara Strong
- “Loki” rookie Hunter X-5 played by Rafael Casal
- Sylvie played by Sophia Di Martino
- End of Time and Victor Timely played by Jonathan Majors
New episodes will become available every Thursday for the next six weeks with a season finale scheduled for November 9th. The timing is impeccable as fans will also have one day before The Marvels premieres in theaters on November 10th, staring Park Seo-joon and Brie Larson.
