Goodbye dressy slacks, uncomfortable shapewear, and boobie-trapping bras! Hello comfy sweatpants, soft tees, and cozy loungewear.
Joggers
Yummie’s yummy Baby French Terry Slim Leg Joggers have pockets for stashing snacks – and we know, you need all the snacks right now.
Lululemon’s buttery soft Align Joggers are cute enough for yoga class and cozy enough for the couch.
The popular sock company, Bombas, also makes sweatpants. Their french terry Women’s Cotton Sweatpants come in black and a light gray heather, the latter having contrasting red and blue stitching. You can feel good about this purchase, because for each pair that’s bought, Bombas donates a pair to the homeless. But also they’re just really well-made. Plus, the pockets have zippers that aren’t visible from the outside!
If $100 is a little steep for you to spend on a pair of joggers, we get it. Check out these cute cotton/poly Women’s Leopard Print Jogger Pants – Colsie™ Gray that are just $20 at Target!
Sweatshirts + Hoodies
Madewell’s Heathered Puff-Sleeve Raglan Sweatshirt is really comfy, yet cute enough for say, a video conference call. The poofy sleeves and cropped cut of their Bubble-Sleeve Hoodie Crop Sweatshirt is super soft and flattering.
Blazers are out, sweatshirts are in! We could just live in Lululemon’s dress-like Seek Softness Long Hoodie, but their Scuba Pullover Wash has a kangaroo pocket and holes in the sleeves for your thumbs.
Self-Care is For Everyone has a ton of cute graphic sweatshirts with uplifting messages. Their Mental Health Matters design is a good reminder for everyone. Get it in white, lavender, or sand.
You’re probably supposed to wear Modcloth’s Cabin Fever Graphic Sweatshirt when you’re staying in a cabin, but it seems appropriate at this juncture too.
T-shirts
Banana Republic’s Slub Cotton-Modal Crew-Neck T-Shirt and V-Neck version come in a variety of bright colors for spring. Some have said that they run small, so make sure to use their True Fit size finder to ensure you order the correct one. Also, the white tee is a little see-through, but that shouldn’t matter since it’s just for around the house.
A cotton t-shirt is one of the staples of any work from home wardrobe. You can’t help but fall in love with Lululemon’s Love Crew III and Love Tee V pima cotton tees. The curved hem makes them fall just right. Both the v-neck and crew neck styles are available in a boatload of colors.
Madewell’s light and airy Whisper Cotton V-Neck Pocket Tee is also available in a variety of colors, which you can collect for under 20 bucks a pop. Sizes range from XXS to 3X. Like all Madewell t-shirts, this one is so soft it feels like you’ve already owned it for a while.
Your boss may not think ban.do’s I Cry at Work Tee is funny, but we think it’s hilariously appropriate for your home office. Another appropro graphic top, the 100% cotton jersey Beautiful Day Indoors Tee is extra soft and pre-shrunk. If you’re not familiar with the ban.do brand, check out the founder’s podcast, Jen Gotch is Okay Sometimes.
Sweatsuits
What’s the opposite of a power suit? A sweatsuit. The epitome of leisurewear is hippie-influenced this season, with tie-dye options popping up everywhere. Seriously, just look at all the options from Bloomie’s:
Vintage Havana Tie-Dyed Sweatshirt & Jogger Pants (black)
Vintage Havana Tie-Dyed Hoodie & Jogger Pants (pastel)
AQUA Tie-Dyed Sweatshirt & Tie-Dyed Drawstring Sweatpants
We’re fans of Free People’s pastel rainbow Kojak Sweatshirt paired with matching Night Joggers, but we’re also fond of their Bamboo Burst Tie-Dye Pullover and Bamboo Burst Tie-Dye Sweats.
Pants
Nothing says WFH like roomy, wide leg pants. Athleta has two styles we love, the Studio Wide Leg Pant and Cabo Linen Wide Leg Pant both of which are available in regular, tall, or petite lengths.
MeUndies has many designs of lounge pants for men and women, made out of the same super-soft material as their underwear. We’re digging the pizza-patterned Slice Slice Baby design, but they also have six solid classic colors available. You can also get matching undies and bras! If you want to go all out, get one of their onesies. This Yo Llama design gives a whole new meaning to casual Friday.
Leggings
If you like to lounge around in leggings, Yummie’s Cotton Stretch Shaping Leggings with Floral Embroidery are perfect for spring.
The adidas Originals 3 Stripes Tights and adidas Originals Trefoil Hoodie make for an easy, comfortable WFH uniform.
Socks
These Meow You Doing? Cat Socks will brighten up your day every time you look down because you’re at home where no shoes are required, buddy! More of a dog person? How about these Give a Dog a Bone Corgi Socks?
Bombas socks are comfy AF. Might as well grab a 4-pack.
Slippers
These Furry Friend Slipper Socks scream cozy! Their warm fleece lining will keep your piggies warm as you work from home.
LLBean’s Women’s Wicked Good Moccasins are hands down the comfiest slippers on the planet. Since you don’t have to wear high heels around the house, you might as well feel like you’re walking on a fluffy cloud.
Pajama Sets
Target’s Stars Above matching PJs will take you from the bed sheets to the spreadsheets. Plus, they come in plus sizes!
We also love this Cosabella Bella Long-Sleeve Top & Boxer Pajama Set made with super soft pima cotton and modal from Banana Republic.
Long-Sleeve Shirts
Banana Republic’s Cropped Tie-Front T-Shirt’s 3/4 length sleeves are perfect for spring weather that can’t make up its mind. The slouchy tee features a dropped shoulder and a tie hem that elevate it beyond jammie status. Banana’s Linen Raglan Cropped T-Shirt is made out of 100% flax linen, so it’s super soft and lightweight. It comes in six colors and is available in sizes XXS-XXL, both regular and petite.
