Two-Ingredient Sweet Potato Pancakes
Who doesn’t love pancakes for breakfast? We’ve got a super simple recipe for a healthy breakfast that will help jumpstart your day. The secret ingredient? Sweet potatoes! First, you’ll need to boil the sweet potato in a pot of hot water until it’s tender. Once the sweet potato cools, you’ll want to remove the skin and mash it in a bowl. The next step is to add your second ingredient: two eggs. Whisk the mashed sweet potatoes and the eggs together, and you’ll end up with a delightfully gooey batter consistent with that of regular pancake batter.
At this point, you’re almost done! All you need to do is spoon the batter onto a heated skillet and cook for two minutes per side. If you feel compelled to, you can always add chocolate chips or cacao nibs if you need a little bit of sweetness added to your pancakes. Of course, adding a dollop of syrup or jam is never a bad idea, either. Can you say delicious?
Two-Ingredient Copycat Starbucks Chai Tea Lattes
Chai tea lattes from Starbucks are one of our favorite ways to ring in the morning, hands down. We just wish they didn’t hurt our wallet so much! Luckily, there’s a way to make copycat Starbucks Chai Tea Lattes from home…using just two ingredients. Count us in!
The two ingredients needed to make copycat Starbucks Chai Tea Lattes are one cup Tazo Chai Tea Latte Concentrate, and half a cup milk of your choice (we’ve been digging oat milk lately!). The Tazo Chai Tea Latte Concentrate will first need to be warmed up on the stove and then poured into a mug. After this is done, it’s time to warm the milk up on the stove. Once the milk has been sufficiently warmed, pour it on top of the warmed Tazo Chai Tea Latte Concentrate. You’re almost there! For final touches, froth the milk on top with a milk frother to make it extra foamy. Yum, you’re welcome!
Two-Ingredient Pumpkin Muffins
Whether you want to make muffins to welcome a new neighbor or you’re just having a major sweet craving, two-ingredient pumpkin muffins are the way to go. They’re delicious, inexpensive, and only take about 25 minutes to make. Let’s go!
The dynamic duo you’ll need for two-ingredient pumpkin muffins is spice cake mix and pumpkin puree. Combine them with ¾ cup of water in a bowl and mix until blended. Once the mixture is smooth, spoon into a muffin tin. Bake for 15-18 minutes at 350 degrees and then they’re done! If you want to add a little bit of extra sweetness, feel free to throw some chocolate chips or cacao nibs into the batter just before it’s done baking. Or, you can always serve these muffins with a dollop of jam or butter. Mmm, so so good!
Two-Ingredient Slow Cooker Barbecue Chicken
Don’t you ever wish that dinner would just cook itself? Well, with this easy two-ingredient slow cooker barbecue chicken recipe, your wish is (basically) our command. For this delicious dinner, all you need are two ingredients: boneless, skinless chicken breasts and barbecue sauce. The prep is laughably easy because all you’re going to do is just dump the chicken breasts and barbecue sauce together in the crockpot. That’s it!
Set that baby on low for six to eight hours or on high for three to four hours. Once the meat is done cooking, remove the chicken and shred it with a fork or meat shredders to get it nice and tender. Then, throw it back in with the cooked barbecue sauce and stir. You can serve the shredded barbecue chicken on a bun, throw it on a pizza, put in a quesadilla, or use it to top a salad…the options are endless!
Two-Ingredient Nutella Brownies
We’re nutty for Nutella, so when we found out that two-ingredient Nutella brownies existed, we knew we had to try them out for ourselves. To make two-ingredient Nutella brownies, all you’ll need is four eggs, a cup of Nutella, and a pinch (hey, it’s just a pinch—not a full other ingredient) of salt. First, preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then, line the base of an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper or spray with non-stick spray. You’re going to want every last bite of brownie—trust us!
From this point, you’re going to crack all four eggs into a mixing bowl and add a pinch of salt. Beat the eggs with a hand mixer or freestanding mixer until they are light and airy (they will resemble mousse at this point). Once this is done, measure one cup of Nutella into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for about one minute, until it is warm and slightly runny. Whisk the Nutella with the egg mixture until the consistency is smooth. Pour the batter into your baking pan and make for 17 to 20 minutes. Once the brownies have cooled, cut them into 16 individual pieces and get ready to serve. The tops will be slightly dry, but the insides should be made up of that gooey Nutella flavor that we all love so much. Um, we’re salivating!
