Additional Ingredients
You can garnish your cosmopolitan with different peels if you want to add a different citric twist; consider keeping the lime theme going by adding a lime twist or wheel to your cocktail.
Vodka can make or break a classic cocktail and for the cosmopolitan, you can totally mix up the flavors of vodka that you use. Some people enjoy using lemon vodka, which works well with a drink that already has multiple twists of citrus. Additionally, since you already have an orange twist to garnish the drink you can stick with that flavor by splashing in some orange vodka.
