If you’re a doggo lover, Shake Shack is offering a sweet way to help the very best good boys and girls. The burger chain is introducing a new limited edition shake, and a portion of the proceeds will serve as a fundraiser for dogs.
The new dessert, The Love Shack, is a strawberry blonde milkshake. With the pink color and whip cream and glitter sprinkles on top, it’s the perfect Valentine’s Day indulgence. Shake Shack teamed up with The B-52’s (the name was taken from their 1980s hit “Love Shack”) for this new campaign.
Although it will look great on your Instagram grid, there’s a better reason to buy one — $2 of the $6 shake will be donated to Canine Companions for Independence, a non-profit organization that provides people with disabilities highly trained service dogs. So if you buy a Love Shack shake, you are helping a dog become trained as a service animal.
Every Love Shack Shake sold, @shakeshack will Give a Dog a Job by donating $2 to Canine Companions for Independence, a non-profit that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs. #caninecompanionsforindependence #LoveShackShake pic.twitter.com/KfjMnfWMlr

The shakes will be available at Shake Shack locations in New York City, Los Angeles and Atlanta Feb. 9 – 18. And because it’s for a good cause, you don’t have to feel guilty about sucking down the extra calories.
