Medication
Although basic OTC medicine can be easily picked up in the resort gift shop, it’s the last thing you want to do when you’re not feeling well, especially if you have to pay top dollar. Be prepared, and have it on hand! Also, be aware of your prescription medications. Always bring more medicine and medical supplies than you’ll need for your stay. Should you lose a dose, or your trip is extended due to some unforeseen circumstance, you’re covered.
My Medication Requires Refrigeration. Do Disney World Resort Hotel Rooms Have Refrigerators?
All Disney hotel rooms have at least a small mini-refrigerator. If you need to bring your medication into the parks and keep it cool, you’re welcome to leave it with First Aid or bring a cooler. We recommend the Frio Insulin Cooling Wallet.

Clothing
Aside from the daily clothing you”ll pack for the duration of your trip, you’ll want to keep in mind that heat, humidity, rain, and the occasional chilly evening that may have you wanting to change your outfit. Also, take into consideration that accidents do happen, and you’ll be thankful for that extra shirt or pair of pants when you spill a drink or stain it with ketchup.
Thankfully if you find yourself in a situation where you need to wash your clothes, all Disney resorts have self-service laundry facilities on-site, as well as laundry detergent for purchase if you don’t bring your own, and dry cleaning and valet laundry services.
Dress Code Requirements for Restaurants
Apart from the signature restaurants, Disney restaurants often do not hold their guests to a stringent dress code. You’ll find that with the vast majority of Disney dining, park attire is welcomed.
If you have reservations at one of Disney’s Signature (Fine) Dining locations, the minimum dress code will fall under business casual or cocktail attire. Business casual or cocktail attire might include khakis, slacks, jeans, dress shorts, collared shirts, sports coats, dresses, skirts, or capri pants. If you’re still unsure, you can always check with the restaurant’s website.
If dining at Victoria & Alberts at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, dress codes are strongly enforced.

Disney even provides its guests with an app, Laundry View, which lets visitors know the locations of machines and cycle times, to reduce wait times. Use your credit or debit card to purchase wash and dry times.

- Fill your cart with selected groceries for your stay. A minimum $20 order is needed to check out. We suggest healthy to-go snacks and simple breakfasts that can be enjoyed in your room before heading out for the day.
