Thanksgiving is a day for food — turkey and stuffing, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie and… brussels sprouts sliders?
The New York Times recently caused a stir when they tweeted out a recipe for the vegetarian sliders.

The brussels sprouts are the sliders’ buns, holding together caramelized onions, mustard, and tempeh. Healthy and vegetarian-friendly? Sure. Appetizing? Not so much.
