Shopping for a vacuum that checks all the boxes is a difficult process. There’s always something missing. You’ve probably scanned every review you could to find the right one for you. Well, let me tell you, I found it. My mom recommended it after she fell in love! She’s had hers for months and has not had one complaint. So I had to get it. This cordless Shark stick vacuum has changed the cleaning game for me. It’s usually a chore, but now I am excited to clean. It probably has something to do with how amazing it feels to have clean and clear floors! And trust me, those are a must, especially when you have children and pets!
Putting It Together
The first thing I noticed was how easy it was to assemble. Just a few parts put into place and it was ready to be charged! The instructions are clear and easy to follow. I had no trouble getting it hooked up and plugged in! Without the confusion or hard-to-understand directions, it was a breeze. This vacuum is also very simple to put together, charge, and use! There is an easy-to-read display showing the vacuum’s charge amount. All in all, the assembly was a pleasant surprise and I was ready to see what the machine could do.
Putting It To The Test
Once it was charged (I left it plugged in overnight), I unplugged it and began to vacuum my place. Right away I realized how better it was than my last vacuum, and how much lighter! It was gliding across the floors, smooth as velvet. I have hardwood as well as area rugs, and the Shark tackled both with no problem. And to add to the amazingness, it cleaned up the mess my new puppy had made for it in the morning. If you have a pet, most definitely if you have a puppy, then you know they can be a little destructive. My puppy has loved to rip up paper, fabric, and toilet paper and she brings in dirt and leaves from outside. The Shark has had no issues with any of her messes, big or small. Plus, with its lithe frame and LED headlights, even if she runs under the couch or bed to tear something up, I am able to see and reach the mess!
Another huge pro of this vacuum is its versatility. I am able to transform it into a handheld vacuum to get crumbs off the couch. I can even use the whole neck of the vacuum with the handled part to suck up all the dust and grime from my ceiling fan! My place has never felt cleaner.
Side By Side
One of the drawbacks of many smaller vacuums is their dustbin size. Well, this isn’t a worry with the Shark. I can use it more than five times and not need to empty it out! Its XL volume is incredible. As well as its charging capacity. I haven’t needed to plug mine in, and it’s been weeks. So not only am I able to use the Shark many times without emptying the dust cup, I don’t have to worry about it losing its charge in between uses.
Kate B. reviewed the Shark to compare with the cordless Dyson she had for five years. A few things she had to comment on were the battery life, suction, and quietness. All of these categories made the Shark better than her former Dyson. Kate commented, “The suction is awesome!! It cleaned my Master bedroom carpet where my three dogs sleep with ease. It sucked up fluff from a destuffed dog toy that my Dyson would never touch!!! It is much more quiet, even in boost mode, than my Dyson!” Even with three dogs and three children, the Shark has had no problem keeping up.
One reviewer, apatterson, even said this was the best vacuum for textured floors. They commented, “I hate my floors in the main areas. Rolled vinyl, textured. They don’t sweep, they don’t dry mop. The dirt just gets in the texture. Awful! This vacuum is the ONLY tool that works.” For all of the crevices you haven’t been able to reach before, now is the time! The Shark stick vacuum is all around the best vacuum I’ve ever used. And with having a pet and being busy, it has made my weekend cleaning rampages more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable. I’ll never go back to using hefty machines ever again, this one is all I’ll ever need!
