Since I started working at home, I’ve noticed something. No, it’s not the insane amount of coffee I drink. It’s the fact my desk is “Boring” with a capital B. Although I love plants, I’ll be the first to admit: I don’t have a green thumb. However, I was able to keep one plant alive for over a week! But then I forgot it at my parent’s house, and now I think it’s dead. I don’t have to worry about that with these plants; they’re artificial and require no watering or direct sunlight. Which is a blessing in disguise – in my old apartment, I had little to no sunlight. This made keeping plants alive impossible since they’d basically be sitting in the dark all day. I also always struggled to remember to water my plants, and I know I’m not the only one. However, it is recommended to wipe the leaves with a cloth every so often to keep dust from building up (which, okay, I can make myself remember to do that).
