AmazonFresh
Amazon is getting into the grocery business, going way beyond pantry items to include product. AmazonFresh is only available in certain areas right now. If you happen to live in Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, or DC, you can take advantage of AmazonFresh. With this grocery subscription service, Prime members pay $14.99/month for on-demand same-day and next-day grocery delivery, including produce, meat, and dairy. Deliveries are free for orders over $35, otherwise, the fee is $9.99. EBT cardholders can not only use their cards to buy food, but they can enjoy this service for no monthly fee!
Prime Now
Amazon’s Prime Now service is available to all Prime members with no extra subscription needed. This service delivers Whole Foods Market groceries from the store to your door, and it’s free for two-hour delivery on orders over $35. Otherwise, fees begin at $4.99. Delivery is available in one and two-hour windows in 88 metro areas across the US, including LA, New York, Portland, San Diego, Chicago, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Dallas/Fort Worth, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Austin, Sacramento, Denver, Atlanta, and Phoenix.
It works a lot like Instacart, where someone will do your in-store shopping for you and then drop it off on your doorstep. Unlike AmazonFresh, which comes from Amazon distribution centers, this service is sourced from nearby Whole Foods stores.
Prime Pantry
